Spring 2024: Healthy Faith - Healthy Family

Every January, families place a bigger emphasis on their health. We all tend to take a look at everything from our habits and routines to our faith and how we spend our time and we try to get healthy in one way or another. We know that when we get healthy as individuals, it has a positive impact on our family. The same is true in our faith. When our faith gets healthy, our family and ultimately our church family gets spiritually healthy. This Spring, we have provided many opportunities for you to do just that. Woodlake Kids:

Boys and Girls Ministries: On Wednesdays during the school year, we have “Brotherhood” for elementary boys and “Sisterhood” for elementary girls.   Boys and girls both spend time learning God’s Word and growing in their relationships with leaders and each other.

Junior Bible Quiz: During the school year on Wednesday Nights at 5:30 PM, Junior Bible Quiz is practicing, learning comprehensive bible trivia and developing their overall knowledge of the bible. The culmination of this learning is to participate in Junior Bible Quiz competitions. This is a fun and engaging way for students between kindergarten to 5th grade to interact with God’s Word.

Woodlake Youth:

At Woodlake Youth, our Wednesday Night Small Groups are always priority #1. In these groups, our students build relationships with other students their age and are mentored by our team of incredible volunteer leaders. This Fall is all about connecting students into those relationships with the goal of helping them grow in their faith along the way.

Youth On Sundays: On Sunday Mornings, our youth classes meet for breakfast and an opportunity to go deeper into the Bible together. We have a class for Jr. High (Grades 6-8) and High School (Grades 9-12). Both classes meet in the Gathering Space at 9:30am.

Student Leader Connect: On 1st and 3rd Sunday Nights (except for when we have youth rallies), our students gather at the church for dinner and a chance to grow in their leadership. This is a great opportunity for students to develop their gifts, make some great friends, and serve together.

Woodlake Young Adults:

WoodlakeYA is a place to find genuine community and friendships with people that are going through the same season of life together. We provide opportunities for anyone from the age of 18 to 29ish to experience God and find family with people their age. WYA meets every week after our Wednesday night prayer service to head out to eat following service.

WYA is hosting a monthly gathering at the church, monthly fun events, and weekly small groups in multiple locations.

Wednesday Nights:

We have opportunities for the entire family to grow in their faith every Wednesday Night! If you’re looking for where to start, come to our Prayer Service in the Gathering Space. During this service we worship together, we take communion every week, we pray for the needs in our church, we pray for a missionary every week, and our sermons help us to dig into the Bible and apply God’s Word to our prayer life.

Brotherhood/Sisterhood/Groups/Classes:
