Bridge Builders is our local & global missions mechanism to reach the entire world with the good news of Jesus Christ!
In Mark 16:15 NLT, Jesus said to “Go into all the world and preach the good news to everyone” and through this ministry, we are going to build bridges to those who don’t know Jesus yet!
The word “GO” in this scripture is translated as this, πορεύομαι (poreuomai) which refers to the act of going in a particular direction. Figuratively, it refers to taking a particular course of action.
As the Woodlake Family, we are going to set out on a “particular course of action” that we have called Bridge Builders!
Bridge Builders is our ministry of generosity to share the love of Jesus both locally and globally! We will “GO” by using this as our course of action! 1 Corinthians 9:22-23 NLT “When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some. I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings.”
We BUILD BRIDGES through prayer between God and people who don’t know Jesus yet.
We pray scripture for our missionaries all around the world, for our family, neighbors, coworkers, and public officials, and will believe for wisdom and influence for them!
We pray for the lost to find Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
We pray God will fill our hearts with His love for all people. Our goal is to not only love the Lord with all our heart but to also love our neighbors as ourselves!
We BUILD BRIDGES through generosity when we give our very best to expand the kingdom of God here and all over the world!
We invest generously in our missionaries and support what God is doing around the world.
We invest generously in our local community! We believe our local churches should make their communities a better place to live.
We BUILD BRIDGES through love-filled actions in our global and local communities!
We will invest our time and energy to help our missionaries and community leaders and be a part of all the amazing things that God is doing around the world!
We want the entire Woodlake Family to experience a missions trip.
We will find common ground and build bridges through relationships to the people locally who God has placed around us.

Our Brazil missions trip, we will be flying into São Paulo and partnering with Garo and Jordania Nargiz, missionaries to Brazil who have had a long-standing relationship with Woodlake. We will also be doing outreach at a group home for foster children. Our focus will be to bring the good news that each child is loved, valued and seen by his or her heavenly father. Additionally, we will be ministering in local churches throughout the area doing whatever is needed at that time. This trip will cost approximately $3,600 per person.
Our Ireland missions trip partners with a local church in Dublin, St. Marks South, to provide outreach to a largely unchurched population of kids aged 4-12.
